Superiority
The STMMA is an expandable co-polymer resin beads developed by Castchem specially used for lost foam casting foundries. Compare with the conventional EPS, the carbon molecule content has been greatly reduced, in that cast the carburization problem in the casting will be reduced. Because the oxygen content of the STMMA improved to burn enough, the fold defects during the LFC process will be also reduced. Meanwhile, add the organic bromide as an additive will quickly reduce the molecular weight of polystyrene at elevated temperatures.
